            Seeking for a position in a design studio where I can practice and

             share my design skills with professionals. This experience will help me

             to develop and learn new skills in the industry.

 

Education:

           

            Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication.

            School of Architecture and Design.

            American University of Sharjah, U.A.E.

            Graduation in June 2007

 

Skills:

 

            - Experience in illustration, typography, and layout.

            - Knowledge of form and space through posters, and spreads.                     

            - Experience in digital and black & white dark room photography skills

and journalism methods.

            - Experience in history of graphic design and architecture.

            - Familiar with both Macintosh and Windows operating systems.

            - Experience in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop, ImageReady

               & Acrobat, GoLive, Macromedia Flash, Apple iMovie & 

              iDVD, Microsoft Office.

            - Time management skills.

 

Achievements:

 

- One of the five students who got nominated for the cover page

competition for the International Print Magazine in April 2005

- Participated in the Memfest design competition in May 2005.

- Designed a business card, CD cover, and website for Adnan Saffarini Consultant company in Dubai. Also, rendered many  

architectural plans and elevations for the same company in summer 2004-2005

- Participated in a four-day photo-collage workshop for the Lebanese photographer Camille Zakharia. Sharjah University,Collage of Fine Art.
